Hi, my name’s Katerina and I run Ethos Events! We are a new and emerging backdrop hire business in Melbourne. All of our products for hire are designed and built in house. We create our own backdrops and packages to stand out from the crowd and create unique and bespoke event decor.

Our Backdrops
At Ethos Events our backdrops and set-ups are created with intent and purpose. Therefore customisation to the set-ups are limited to signage and florals only. Each set-up works as a package. We are happy to chop and change any existing packages to reach your ideal vision for your event!

Custom Backdrops
At Ethos Events we create the entirety of our set-ups.
As we design and build our set-ups we are happy to create custom backdrops and concept creation. Please note this is a luxury service and may not always be available. However, please feel free to email us with your query.
Booking Terms
The Booking Process
The best way to book is to firstly fill out the contact form which you can find on our ‘Contact‘ page.
If you’re more of an over-the-phone kinda organiser, we can give you a call after all your details are received through this form.
Once we run through the details of your event together, we will send you an invoice. Your booking will only be confirmed once we receive a non-refundable 50% deposit of the invoice price.
We do require the remaining balance at least 2 days prior to your event. We thank you for your cooperation.
Safety
Our props are strong and self standing, they are secured from the back and weighted down. We ask that children do not touch or play with the set-ups. While they are built to last, they are not built to be prodded, played with and pushed.
Our set-ups are built to withstand outdoor climates, if you are interested in hosting an outdoor event please make this known. Extra measures will need to be taken to ensure stability and safety.
Positioning
Our set-ups are gorgeous but their back-side is not so pretty. The best way to position our set-ups is in front of a wall or structure where people will not traverse behind.
Cancellations
We understand that life can get in the way of things. If you are forced to cancel your event we will only withhold your non-refundable deposit.
